SponsorMap is a free directory of Australian companies approved by the Department of Home Affairs to sponsor skilled workers on employer-sponsored visas.
Every company in our database holds accreditation as either a Standard Business Sponsor (SBS) or an Accredited Sponsor — meaning they've been formally approved by the Australian government to hire overseas workers through pathways like the Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) or the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186).
Our data comes from a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the Department of Home Affairs (FOI reference: FA 25/01/01229), which released the official list of accredited sponsors as at January 2025.
We've enriched this data with additional information including industry sector, company type, employee count estimates, and state coverage to make it easier to search and filter.

SponsorMap is a starting point, not a guarantee. Here's the right way to use it:
Find companies in your industry and target state
Use the map or filters to narrow down companies that operate in the sector and location where you want to work.
Research each company
Click any company to see more detail. Check their website, look at their open roles on SEEK or LinkedIn, and understand what they actually do before applying.
Verify their current status
Accreditation status can change. Before investing time in an application, confirm the company is still an active sponsor by checking the ABN Lookup or contacting them directly.
Apply with context
When you apply, you don't need to mention SponsorMap. Focus on your skills and how you fit the role. If asked about your visa situation, be upfront — but lead with your value, not your visa needs.
SponsorMap is a directory, not a job board. We show you who can sponsor — not who is currently hiring.
We are not affiliated with any company listed in the directory, the Department of Home Affairs, or any migration agency.
We do not guarantee that any listed company is currently sponsoring, currently hiring, or willing to sponsor your specific role or visa subclass.
This is not immigration advice. For advice specific to your situation, consult a registered migration agent (MARA).
SponsorMap was built to solve a real problem: finding companies that can actually hire you as an international worker in Australia is harder than it should be. The official data exists — it just wasn't easy to find or use.
This is an independent project. If you spot something incorrect, use the "Something look wrong?" link on any company page to suggest a correction. We review every submission.
