SponsorMap is an independent directory of Australian companies accredited to sponsor skilled workers on employer-sponsored visas. The platform is operated by an individual based in Australia. For questions about this policy, use our contact form.
We collect minimal information and only when you actively provide it.
Contact form submissions
When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write. This information is sent directly to our email inbox and is not stored in any database. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry.
Saved sponsors (favourites)
When you bookmark companies, this information is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Data corrections
If you submit a data correction, we collect the content of your suggestion and, optionally, your email address if you choose to provide it. This information is stored in our database and used to review and improve the accuracy of the directory.
SponsorMap does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie used is a strictly necessary session cookie for the admin panel, which is only active when an administrator is logged in.
Because we do not use non-essential cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be added.
SponsorMap is hosted on Vercel (San Francisco, USA). Vercel may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and request metadata for operational purposes. These logs are subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
SponsorMap is operated in Australia and is committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
You have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you, and to request that we correct it if it is inaccurate. To make such a request, use our contact form.
Contact form submissions are retained in our email inbox for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, after which they may be deleted. Data correction suggestions are retained in our database indefinitely as part of the audit trail for directory accuracy.
